What started as a simple rental quickly turned into one of the strangest experiences of my life. From unexplained power outages to a garage boiler with hidden gas valves, things at 1 Kirkwood St. just didn’t add up. Odd attic signs with instructions to ‘follow the string’ for gas shutoff A constant gas sound from the Weil-McLain boiler connected to the garage door Locks designed to trap someone inside the master bedroom & bathroom Neighbors saying past tenants fled overnight, claiming the house was haunted Police and fire department refusing to investigate, calling it a ‘civil matter’ After sealing off vents and investigating the attic, I started piecing together the strange reality of this house. But when I asked for help? Authorities dismissed my concerns and suggested a Mobile Crisis Unit instead.
