📄 2024-04-28 – Bullet in Window Incident
Evidence of direct attack. The door reeked of pure chlorine. I reported this, and they downplayed it again.

Incident Report: Bullet Hole in Window and Intimidating Message (April 28, 2024)

Location: Duplex Home
Summary:

  • Upon returning home after the chase incident, Dana inspected her residence for vulnerabilities and discovered a bullet hole in the basement window of her son’s room.

  • This damage was not present during her initial inspection of the duplex, raising concerns that the window had been tampered with or damaged while she was away.

  • Dana noticed that there were no bullets lodged in the window frame as described by the police. The officer suggested it was old BB gun damage, as the outside screen was intact, and the BB only penetrated the outer layer of glass.

  • Additionally, Dana observed the phrase “drinking pure chlorine” written on a closet door, which she interpreted as an intimidation tactic. This discovery was alarming, especially in light of her later reports about water contamination issues.

Concerns:

  • The police dismissed the bullet hole as old damage, despite inconsistencies in the explanation provided (e.g., lack of external damage to the screen that matched up with the hole).

  • The intimidating message referencing "pure chlorine" was not taken seriously as a potential threat or connected to subsequent concerns about chemical contamination.

  • The lack of a thorough investigation into potential break-ins or sabotage left Dana feeling unsafe in her new rental home.

When returning to the duplex after the chase she went around and noticed there were vulnerabilities.  In the basement window of one of her children’s rooms there were bullet holes in the glass.  This was not there upon initial inspection – so while she was out of town they either replaced the window or the bullet holes came later.  There were not bullets in the window seal as described by the officer.  Also on the closet doors there were words that expressed “drinking pure chlorine” to intimidate.  Later with the water have chemicals pumped into it – this warrants a threat that was followed through instead of it being just something to overlook.  They were dismissed by the cops and when she reported issues with her water later this was not even accounted for.

She advised she thought there was a bullet hole in her window. She requested we walk through to check for people in her home and the bullet hole. No one was in her house and the bullet hole was a bb hole. The outside screen was not damaged so it had to be old damage. The bb pellet was in the bottom of the window. The bb only penetrated the outside glass and not the inside. 17 was advised of this information.
